The Yorkshire County Cricket Club have created the following guidelines for Yorkshire Second XI Championship fixture against Durham Second XI at Emerald Headingley from Monday 24 May.
Before you attend the match, please familiar yourself with the following information.
RESERVING OR PURCHASING A TICKET
This fixture is available to qualified Members only who have reserved their seat before the 18 May deadline. Paper and mobile tickets have been issued for each day’s play that a Member attends to ensure that seats are allocated and social distancing measures are being adhered to. Please note that there will be no sales on the day. This is for the safety of our spectators and to reduce queuing on the day.
DO YOU HAVE COVID-19 SYMPTOMS?
If you have been instructed to self isolate and/or have produced a positive Covid-19 tests, please do not make the journey to attend the match. We encourage all spectators to take a lateral flow test 24 hours before attending a day’s play at Emerald Headingley.
TRANSPORT
There are many ways to get to Emerald Headingley. If travelling by public transport, we ask that spectators wear a face mask and sanitise their hands regularly.
For those who don’t wish to take public transport, parking is available in Car Park E on St Michael’s Lane on days one and two. There will be no on-site parking available for days three and four. Parking will be charged at £5 per car and must be booked in advanced by calling the Ticket Office on 0344 504 3099. Payments can be made over the phone or in person on the day.
Bike racks are available at the ground and are to be left at the owner’s discretion.
IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER
Spectators are urged to consider the weather forecast before making their journey to Emerald Headingley. As Emerald Headingley is an open air stadium, consideration must be given to sheltering from the rain and maintaining social distancing.

We encourage spectators to consider all weather conditions by bringing an umbrella, sun cream and their own bottled water. Water fountains will be unavailable on the day to reduce the chance of queuing in the concourses.
ON ARRIVAL
ENTRANCE VIA ST MICHAEL’S LANE
For this fixture, entry will be through the St Michael’s Lane turnstiles only. Please note that the Kirkstall Lane entrance will not be open for this game. Turnstiles will open at 10.30am for each day’s play.
