The Yorkshire County Cricket Club has agreed a second year deal with current hydration partner Phizz. The young brand will continue to supply effervescent tablets for player performance & recovery.

As the preferred hydration product by YCCC performance staff, Phizz returns as an official club partner in 2018.

Hydration plays an important role in player performance, focus and health throughout the season. A unique effervescent tablet, Phizz helps players absorb more water, replaces all electrolytes lost through sweat and delivers a wide range of vitamins and minerals essential to recovery and health.

Ian Fisher, Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach at YCCC said: “Phizz is key to our hydration strategy. We work hard to optimise player performance and Phizz is an important piece in that jigsaw across training, travel and match days.”

Phizz is a two year old startup taking the sport and travel sectors by storm. They supply Emirates Airline (First Class), South Africa National Cricket and are now used by the majority of County sides in the UK.

Yasmin Badiani, Head of Sport at Phizz said: “A partnership with Yorkshire County Cricket Club is great for our young brand. Knowing coaches and players are pleased with the product is essential and seeing Phizz bottles and coolers being used at Emerald Headingley is significant exposure.”

Phizz is now available for fans to purchase in the YCCC Club Shop. All purchases of the product will be entered into a competition to win a pair of tickets to any domestic home game*
