The Yorkshire County Cricket Club partner with Mansfield Sports Group (MSG), a provider of elite coaching aides and cricket balls.

Based in London, MSG became the official equipment supplier to Yorkshire at the start of the 2020 season having agreed a long-term deal.

Yorkshire CCC’s Director of Cricket Martyn Moxon said: “It’s fantastic to partner with one of the world’s best coaching equipment providers and we’ve certainly seen the benefits this season.

“Their equipment has allowed us to develop our training sessions and enhanced our ability to prepare the players for competition.”

The partnership sees MSG provide coaching aides such as Roboarms and bowling machines, whilst also providing balls for practice. Something that has been extended throughout Yorkshire Cricket with MSG providing cricket balls to the county and district age-groups. Going forward, there are plans for MSG to sponsor six players from the junior age-groups with free equipment, as they hope to assist in the development of more players through the Yorkshire Pathways.

Jim Love, the Yorkshire County Age Group Performance Manager, said: “We’ve used their balls this year for our age-group sides and have been delighted with the quality and performance of them. With a shared goal of developing talented young players to achieve their potential, I’m looking forward to continuing this partnership over the coming years.”
