Somerset are 25-5 in the ninth over.

Same thought. It couldn’t have gone much better for the women, either.

It’s an overcast start to day two, which Yorkshire’s men will resume on 133-7 in their first innings. We are all set for a start on time at 10.30am, with 104 overs scheduled in the day.

Up at Headingley, Yorkshire’s women face Somerset in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup. That should get going at 10.30am, with the White Rose aiming for win number four from 13.

The weather is seemingly a touch more unsettled back at home. The players are warming up at present, but there is rain in the distance. “Showery all day” is a message received from a media team colleague in situ.
