Ami Campbell returns from a finger injury to replace Jess Jonassen, who has returned to Australia to attend her best friend’s wedding.

Good morning...

The blog is being run from Taunton today, where it’s a lovely start to the day weather wise.

Yorkshire’s men are up against it after a difficult day one which saw them bowled out for 162 before the hosts responded strongly with 201-3, a lead of 39.

Opener Josh Thomas compiled an excellent 136 not out. We’re all set for an 11am start.

Up at Headingley, our women are facing Essex in game number six of the Metro Bank One-Day Cup. They have so far won two, lost two and tied one. The latter was last time out against Durham at Scarborough on Wednesday.

Jess Jonassen’s century wasn’t quite enough to seal victory chasing 291. She actually misses today’s game having returned home to Australia for her best friend’s wedding.

Essex are currently bottom of the table having won one and lost four.

The weather is set fair at Headingley, too. They get going there at 10.30am.

You can read our preview for that match, with coach Rich Pyrah, via the link below.

You can also read yesterday’s report and reaction, the latter with Jonny Bairstow, via the links below.

Both streams will be posted before we get going at the respective venues.
