Good news
Confirmation from the umpires that we will be starting on time. All set to go at 11am.
Players are warming up now
We have some activity on the outfield now, and the sun’s out too.
Delayed start?
We have had no official word, and we may be putting two and two together and getting five here, but it looks like we may be in for a delayed start.
The umpires, Nigel Llong and Russell Warren are out in the middle in discussion and none of the warm-ups have started. We shall update you as soon as we know more.
Good morning...
From North Marine Road, where it’s dry and overcast ahead of day three.
After two disrupted days, we’re hopeful of a full day or close to it today.
And it’s the key day in this fixture.
If Yorkshire can have a good one, they will give themselves a sniff of victory.
The White Rose begin on 376-5, with Matthew Revis on 34 and Will Sutherland with him having only just come to the crease.
Yorkshire will need some quick runs and then to get bowling with something in the region of 450-500 on the board, you would think.
The likelihood, given we’ve had near enough a day taken out by the weather, is that this fixture will finish in a draw. But stranger things have happened, there’s no doubt.
You can read our match report and reaction piece from day two, the latter with John Sadler, via the embedded X posts above this scene-setter.
Enjoy the day.
