D40 Pursuit side get Yorkshire’s Disability summer started in style
Good morning...
From Headingley, where it’s another glorious start to day four against Sussex, weather wise.
Fingers crossed, it’s a bowling morning because Yorkshire are chasing wickets which could help them claim a victory which has looked unlikely for the majority of this fixture.
Every credit to the White Rose. Since conceding 502 in the first innings, they have hit back with gusto to create an opportunity.
Sussex will begin this morning on 31-2 in their second innings, leading by 22. The draw still remains the heavy favourite. But, as Sam Whiteman said last night, “A couple of quick ones in the morning and you never know where the day will end up”.
Whiteman completed his maiden Yorkshire century yesterday as the county compiled a first-innings 511, and you can read his reaction to day three via the link below, along with our match report.
The live stream will be available at the top of the page, as per usual.
Enjoy the day.
