George Hill has reached his fifty off 64 balls, and Yorkshire are now 231-8.
Excellent knock, and it’s just started to become more expansive with him running out of partners.
Coad falls to Hull
Ben Coad caught at mid-off against Josh Hull, 1.
George Hill has 36, and Yorkshire are 210-8 as Ben Cliff comes in.

Jonny Tattersall claimed his fifth catch behind at the start of the day and became the first wicketkeeper to claim five dismissals in an innings both for and against Yorkshire.
He did it wearing the White Rose here against Surrey in 2022.
Bess falls...
Dom Bess has been caught at backward point off Josh Hull for 21.
Yorkshire 202-7 in the 69th over as Ben Coad comes in to join George Hill, who has 30.

Feels as if Yorkshire are getting themselves into a decent position here at 195-6.
The pitch has clearly done a bit, so if they can get up near or even just above 300, you’d think that would be a result.
George Hill has 29 and Dom Bess 15.
Plenty of cloud about, but we look set fair for a good while yet, fingers crossed.

Umpires Graham Lloyd and Ian Blackwell have been out to inspect in the last 20 minutes or so, and they will inspect again at both 11am and 12pm.

From North Marine Road, where there has been some overnight rain ahead of day two.
It’s dry at the moment – maybe a touch of sea fret in the air – and the ground-staff are mopping up as I type.
A start on time at 11am is looking unlikely, it has to be said. It’s not been ruled out yet, though.
When play does get underway, Yorkshire will resume on 144-5 with James Wharton on 70 not out and George Hill with him on one.
It’s been a rainy start to this round of fixtures across the board, with three matches across the divisions abandoned without a ball bowled yesterday, including Warwickshire v Nottinghamshire at Edgbaston in Division One.
