Elsewhere in Division One
There are another four fixtures starting today in the top flight of the Championship.
Essex v Somerset at Chelmsford, Nottinghamshire v Glamorgan at Trent Bridge, Surrey v Leicestershire at the Oval and Sussex v Warwickshire at Hove.
In Division Two, Gloucestershire host Durham at Bristol, it’s Kent versus Northamptonshire at Canterbury, Lancashire against Derbyshire at Old Trafford and Middlesex v Worcestershire at Lord’s.
Good morning....
From Headingley, where it’s a dry and sunny day ahead of the start of our clash with Hampshire.
While Yorkshire drew away at Glamorgan last week, Hampshire were beaten inside three days at home to Essex – by an innings.
It certainly wasn’t the start new head coach Russell Domingo from South Africa would have hoped for, alongside his compatriot overseas duo Kyle Abbott and Codi Yusuf.
Yorkshire captain Jonny Bairstow is missing this match with a fractured right thumb. Harry Duke is set to come in to take the gloves, while Australian fast bowler Jhye Richardson comes in for his debut.
You can read our preview for this match, with Dom Bess, whose new contract was announced yesterday morning.
The live stream will be available once again just before play starts, linked at the top of the page.
