1.25pm restart

The Middlesex reply has been delayed by rain. Nothing too heavy, but enough to keep us off.

Leicestershire 140-7 v Middlesex

We’re halfway through the first semi-final here at Wantage Road, and the Foxes have a competitive total on the board.

They started well and lost a few wickets at the end.

Good afternoon...

From Wantage Road…

Yorkshire are in semi-final action from 2.30pm, against Glamorgan, as they chase silverware in the Midlands today.

The winners of that clash will face the winners of Leicestershire v Middlesex, which is ongoing now. That one started at 11am, and Leicestershire are 100-2 in the 15th over.

Yorkshire qualified for Finals Day as the only team out of the 10 in Tier 2 to win all eight matches in the group stages, finishing top of the North. Glamorgan finished second in the South behind Middlesex.

The evening final will begin at 6.30pm.

There was quite a bit of rain around on the drive down to Northampton this morning, so fingers crossed we can get through the day unscathed.

Our preview for the day is available via the embedded X post above this scene-setter.

The live stream is available via our YouTube channel. It’s being run for the day by the ECB.
