It’s a glorious late summer’s morning, and we’re all set to get going at 10.30am.
Yorkshire could do with morning wickets. In bowler-friendly conditions, they don’t really want to be chasing more than say 250, and Nottinghamshire are already 127 ahead at 55-3 in their second innings.
Both sides have had periods of success in this fixture, which has been attritional at stages but fascinating throughout.
Notts’ can no longer win the title, which is Warwickshire’s to lose.
George Hill scored 58 and took a wicket yesterday, which kept Yorkshire in the game. Replying to 251 in the first innings, they were 124-8 before recovering to 179 all out. We spoke to George at close, and linked below is what he said.
