Good morning...
From The Gnoll ground in Neath, where we have hazy sunshine ahead of our second Metro Bank One-Day Cup match of the week. We’re all set to get going at 11am.
After defeat against Hampshire at Scarborough on Tuesday, we bid to get on the board in Group B.
Glamorgan won their opening game at this venue on Wednesday, against Sussex, who are our next opponents on Sunday.
Kuldeep Yadav is set to make his Yorkshire debut today, the first of five appearances in this competition added to three in the Rothesay County Championship.
This is Yorkshire’s first List A trip to Neath since a John Player League game in 1969, and they have a decent recent record in South Wales in this competition, winning on two of their last three visits to Cardiff. In 2021, they won there before Glamorgan bounced back to go on and win the title.
Our preview is linked below and is with all-rounder George Hill, who scored a half-century against Hampshire on Tuesday. We have also published an extra piece this morning with Isaac Bepey, talking about his journey to Yorkshire’s first team. Again, that’s linked below.
There is a live stream available, which will be embedded at the top of the page.
Enjoy the day.
