From the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground, Chelmsford, where it’s a glorious morning ahead of our final group game in the One-Day Cup.

We’re all set for an 11am start for the final Group B fixture.

In one sense, this is not a must win game for Yorkshire. Second-placed in the table, they could lose and advance to the knockouts by finishing in the top three.

In another sense, it is must win. They almost certainly will need that to hold onto second place and secure a home quarter-final on Friday. Durham in third are also on 20 points but with an inferior net run-rate. In fourth and fifth are Hampshire and Worcestershire on 16, again with an inferior net run-rate to Yorkshire.

Worcestershire and Durham play each other at New Road today.

Putting it simply, it’s a last-day scramble for knockout cricket!

Essex are out of contention on 12 points. Their defeat against Durham at Darlington on Sunday was the hammer blow.
