A two-day win, unbelievable!

We spoke in Southampton, and it would have been easy to get down on ourselves about not getting that final wicket against Hampshire.

But we knew that if we replicated the level of cricket we played there, we’d be alright when it came to facing Somerset at Scarborough. Thankfully, that’s how it worked out.

To pick up career best match figures of 9-64 was an amazing feeling, and the first spell I bowled in their second innings on Monday when I took four quick wickets was the best I’ve ever bowled.

I’ve obviously bowled good spells in levels below before, but it’s about doing it at this level.

It felt like I was in a place where everything I wanted to do just came off. The only other time I felt like that was when I took five wickets on my T20 debut as a 17-year-old against Derbyshire at Headingley in 2015.

I felt like I was just dialling it in at Scarborough and it was going where I wanted it to – almost as if you were playing on a computer game. It’s a hard feeling to explain.

We can’t wait for Warwickshire now. Another win there and who knows what could happen.
