The Yorkshire County Cricket Club is delighted to announce that Dom Bess has signed a new two-year contract extension with the club, keeping him with the White Rose until at least the end of 2028.
The off-spinner, who moved north from Somerset in 2019, has so far taken 227 all format wickets and scored 2,663 runs for Yorkshire.
He captained Yorkshire to great effect in the Metro Bank One Day Cup last year, leading his side to the semi-final against Hampshire.
The 28-year-old, who took his 300th first-class wicket in the recent draw against Glamorgan, said he was looking forward to the next three years at Headingley.

“Yorkshire has become my home, and I couldn’t be prouder to continue my journey with the club.
“These next few years will be exciting ones, not just for us on the pitch, but for all the members and supporters who give us their backing each week.
“We have such a talented squad, and I’m thrilled to say I’ll be a part of this as we look to push on and win some trophies.
“Our One Day Cup campaign last year was really solid and there were lots of positives that we can take, not just from that run of games, but the season overall. I’m excited for what is to come over this next period.”
Gavin Hamilton, General Manager of Cricket said: “Dom has shown his quality repeatedly over several years now and has become one of our most important players.
“He has developed into a key leader and voice in our dressing room and continues to be an important asset for us both on and off the pitch.
“Dom’s commitment to the club has been exemplary and we are all delighted to see him sign his new deal.”
