Live coverage as Yorkshire Men face Hampshire in the Rothesay County Championship for the opening day of the 2025 cricket season.

Yorkshire Women rounded off their pre-season tour of Abu Dhabi with a thrilling, last-ball 40-over defeat against Essex today, with the Chelmsford side only just chasing down a target of 255.

I’m absolutely buzzing for the start of the season now. From a team point of view, the way we went about our work in Abu Dhabi, we prepped really well. We’ve all worked very hard over the winter as well, and if we put that into practice I’m sure we’ll have a good summer.

The new summer is just days away, with the Rothesay County Championship getting underway on Friday. Yorkshire's bid for a first Championship title since 2015 starts against Hampshire at the Utilita Bowl, and confidence is high.
