Yorkshire’s D40 Quest side dropped out of the title running in the National Quest League as they suffered a 16-run defeat to Roses rivals Lancashire at Southport and Birkdale yesterday.

Derbyshire opener Aneurin Donald hit a record-breaking 85 off 30 balls as the hosts chased down 201 to beat Yorkshire by seven wickets with 16 balls to spare at Chesterfield.
