Close of play! Yorkshire end on 294 for 7 after their 90 overs withy Jonny Tattersall not out on 103, and Ben Coad at the other end of 24. The White Rose will be happy with their efforts once again, having been made to work hard on a difficult pitch. Tattersall’s knock included shots all around the ground, but he will be remembered for his trademark cut shots, and exquisite straight drives. He was ably assisted along the way by Matthew Waite, Adam Lyth, Jack Leaning and Ben Coad at the end.

Wicket! A 105-run partnership between Jonny Tattersall and Matthew Waite comes to an end as Waite edges a rising delivery behind off the bowling of Chris Rushworth for 49. The all-rounder batted very well, playing strokes around the ground, and deserved a 50. Tattersall is at the other end, currently 72 not out, and has been joined by Steve Patterson. Yorkshire are 234 for 6.
