As the Ashes series bursts into life with a pulsating First Test at Edgbaston, Yorkshire have teamed up with sports website Sporting Life to provide a unique insight into the Ashes.

Yorkshire’s Adam Lyth and Gary Ballance, both part of England’s 2015 series win on home soil, join sportinglife.com’s Gareth Jones and cricket expert Richard Mann to share their experiences of their Ashes success.

The team discuss the 2019 series, pick out the key battle, give insight into the likes of Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Nathan Lyons, David Warner and Mitchell Starc, and preview all five Tests, including the Third at Headingley.

With DRS already playing a huge part in the First Test, Adam and Gary explain how batsmen and captains decided if and when to use their reviews and what happens when they get it wrong.
