Jonny Bairstow is in line to make his Indian Premier League debut on March 24 with Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The Yorkshire star has signed up for his maiden IPL stint, joining county colleague David Willey, who will return to reigning champions Chennai Super Kings.
Only the first fortnight’s schedule has been released, between March 23 and April 5, due to Indian general elections taking place around the same time.
While Willey’s Chennai open the competition against Bangalore and Virat Kohli on March 23, Bairstow should be in action the following day – a Sunday – against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Bairstow was signed by Hyderabad for an auction price of approximately £240,000.
Beforehand, he will take part as one of four Yorkshire players in England’s squad for a three-match T20 international series in the West Indies between March 5-10.
Bairstow, Willey, Adil Rashid and Joe Root have all been selected.
