Beating the Lankys is always good fun, and Yorkshire started off the summer of Roses rivalry in the perfect fashion with a thumping Royal London one-day Cup win.
The Vikings crossed the Pennines to Emirates Old Trafford in early June buoyed by back-to-back group wins on the road over Leicestershire and Derbyshire.
A third on the bounce would put them in a very healthy state regarding knockout qualification.
And that is exactly what they did, and in record-breaking fashion to boot!
