Yorkshire won the toss and elected to field first. However Nottinghamshire totalled 305-5 in the day, Montgomery made 107 from 136 balls with 13 fours, Schadendorf 52 from 76 deliveries with 10 fours whilst Harrison remains unbeaten on 53.

Yorkshire used 8 bowlers and there were 2 wickets each for Tom Loten and Harry Sullivan.
