With the 2024 season only two weeks away, the Yorkshire County Cricket Club is pleased to announce a schedule of dedicated members’ events.

This year the Club are looking to enhance the membership offering even further and these events are to ensure Yorkshire members, of all ages, feel a part of the Yorkshire Family.

Highlights include the Opening Season Lunch where Sir Andrew Strauss will be the guest speaker, held in the Howard Suite on Thursday 4 April.

The Club, alongside the Members’ Representative Group, will also be holding a series of Members’ Forums throughout the year. The first one will be held on day one of the opening game of the season against Leicestershire, where Colin Graves has been confirmed as the primary speaker.

The Club will also host an inaugural Members’ Forum at Barnsley Cricket Club, ahead of the 2nd XI Roses Clash on Tuesday 2 July.

Look out for further details being released during the season on our special event to be held after play on Friday 27 September.

The below timetable outlines the schedule for this season. Further events may be scheduled and will be communicated ahead of time:

Members’ Forum with Colin Graves – Headingley  Friday 5 April  The first Members’ Forum. The best opportunity for members to ask questions to Club Staff and the Board
2024 Annual General Meeting Saturday 27 April This will take place in the Long Room prior to the start of play on Day two of the game vs Derbyshire.
Junior members event Thursday 30 May Our opening T20 takes place during Half Term. This is an great opportunity for Junior members to come and enjoy a range of activities that will be ongoing before play starts.

Ahead of the start of play:

  • Coaching in the Cricket Centre
  • Activations around the ground
  • VR cricket
  • Meet Vinny the Viking
  • Face painting
Junior members day Sunday 16 June During the T20 double header, there will be a series of fun activities for junior members to enjoy.

These activities include:

  • Meet Vinny the Viking
  • Face painting
Members’ Forum – Barnsley  Tuesday 2 July  Prior to the start of the 2nd XI Roses game, the Club will be holding another Members’ forum.
Members Forum – Scarborough  Friday 23 August   Speakers TBC
Members’ Forum – Headingley  Friday 27 September  Speakers TBC
An evening with… Friday 27 September – After play Details along with special guests will be announced later in the season.
Junior event – Saturday 28 September
  • Coaching in the Cricket Centre
  • A player Q&A
  • An opportunity to play on the Headingley outfield
  • Meet Vinny the Viking

Membership pack update

2024 All-in, All-in plus The Hundred, County Championship, day-pass and junior members should receive their membership pack by the end of next week.

Membership packs for One Day Cup and Northern Diamonds Members will receive their packs in mid-April.

Entry to the three-day game against Leeds Bradford MCCU is free of charge and therefore membership cards won’t be required for this game.

There is still time to join as a member in 2024
