How do you get Virat Kohli, Joe Root or Jos Buttler out?
That is the question facing many of Yorkshire’s promising young bowlers this summer.
With a busy summer of international cricket scheduled at Emerald Headingley, made up of a one-day international between England and Pakistan, four World Cup matches and an Ashes Test, the county must provide a plethora of net bowlers for visiting teams on practice days.
Not only does that afford the likes of England, India and Australia a constant stream of bowlers for their batsmen to practice against, but it gives Yorkshire’s next generation the opportunity to see where their own games are at when they come up against the very best.
