Will Luxton led the way with 91 and Matthew Revis 69 not out as Yorkshire enjoyed an impressive day two with the bat against Somerset in the Spanish sunshine.
The White Rose county were facing the Taunton side at Desert Springs in Almeria, and they ended the second and final day on 324-6.
Yorkshire were replying to Somerset’s day one 309-9.
Luxton continued his impressive run of form, which saw him hit four winter centuries in Melbourne club cricket for Greenvale. Revis, meanwhile, has enjoyed a progressive winter thanks to tours of Australia and Abu Dhabi with the England Lions.
Luxton and Revis had their work supplemented by George Hill and Harry Duke, who had both made it into the thirties shortly before close.
Yorkshire face Essex at Chelmsford in their final two-day friendly next weekend.
