Ami Campbell hit a superb century in a 50-over Roses friendly defeat against Lancashire in Potchefstroom today.
Campbell’s middle order 100 off 86 balls – an innings in which she retired out – underpinned a 212-9 total, with Rebecca Duckworth also adding 21.
The online scorecard for the Yorkshire innings was incomplete, but England seamer Kate Cross finished with six wickets as the Red Rose beat the White Rose for the second time in three days.
Weather interrupted proceedings today, and Lancashire ended up chasing a revised 157-target in 16 overs, something they achieved thanks largely to opener Eve Jones’s 64 retired off 38 balls.
Seamer Grace Hall struck three times for Yorkshire in her 3.4 overs.
Earlier, left-handed Campbell hit eight fours and three sixes.
Yorkshire’s South African tour continues with a clash against local side North West Dragons on Monday.
