Yorkshire will take on Essex in a two-day pre-season friendly ahead of the start of the 2026 season.

The game will be played at the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground, Chelmsford on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th March. Start times as well as any further details will be released in due course.

Essex have confirmed that entry will be free of charge for all spectators with no tickets required.

This game will be Anthony McGrath’s team’s only pre-season friendly in England, with details on fixtures played on the pre-season tour to Abu Dhabi, yet to be released.
