RESPECT
The Club has a RESPECT campaign for those attending any Yorkshire match at Headingley, Scarborough and York. If you have suffered or witness any anti-social behaviour at the match, please text the word Respect to 60650. Spectators can report this anonymously to a member of the team here at Headingley.
There is no place for anti-social behaviour in cricket or wider society.
We encourage all spectators to read our Ground Regulations, which are available here:
What is the minimum age for a fan attending a game alone?
Yorkshire Cricket recognises its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all children visiting York for these games and has a commitment to practice which protects them. As part of this commitment, we have reviewed the minimum age of which a child can attend a game without being accompanied by another individual. This review has involved consultation with other first-class counties, Leeds City Council and stakeholders across YCCC.
Our recommendation is that any child under the age of 14 should be accompanied by a responsible adult (defined in law as someone aged 18 or over) and decisions on entry to the ground will be based on that age threshold.
In the event of inclement weather:
Spectators are urged to consider the weather forecast before making their journey to York. As York is an open-air ground with minimal shelter, consideration must be given to sheltering from the rain. We encourage spectators to consider all weather conditions by bringing an umbrella, sun cream and their own bottled water. Follow the link below for the most up-to-date weather information in York.
Spectators are reminded that in the event of inclement weather prior to the game starting, any decision on the prospects of play will not be made by the Club, but the umpires. Should the Club need to communicate any prospects of play, this will be done at the earliest opportunity once the requisite information has been relayed to the Club by the umpires.
Headingley Ticket Office and Shop
Please note both the Ticket Office and Shop at Headingley will be closed on Friday 2 August. Tickets, memberships and merchandise can still be purchased online during this time.
