Yorkshire County Cricket Club rose to remember Rob Burrow at Headingley today (Sunday 9 June, 2024) following his death last week from motor neurone disease.

The Rugby League legend died on Sunday 2 June, 2024, aged 41, having lived with motor neurone disease (MND) since being diagnosed in late 2019.

A minute’s silence was observed at the start of both the Northern Diamonds  v The Blaze Charlotte Edwards Cup match and Yorkshire Vikings v Derbyshire Falcons Vitality Blast fixture at Headingley Cricket Ground.
