It means you can secure your tickets earlier, access the best-priced tickets and purchase up to six tickets for each day of cricket at Headingley.

The ballot gives you the opportunity to enter an early window to buy tickets before the fixtures go on General Sale. While they do not guarantee you a ticket, they give you a greater chance to get the tickets you want.
The ballot allows a certain number of tickets, determined based on demand from International Priority holders and All-In and Full Members and entrants for individual days of cricket to the ballot. First and second window ballot winners are determined from an automated, randomised process. For the best chance of securing the international tickets you want, purchase international priority.

The simplest way to think about it is this: If you want to buy today – purchase priority. If you want the opportunity to buy later but potentially miss out on your chance to experience England at Headingley in 2027, enter the ballot – although there is no guarantee your ballot application will be successful or that you will get the tickets or number of tickets you want.
