Yorkshire completed an emphatic victory by 208 runs in their opening fixture on pre-season tour, beating Cardiff MCCU in a 50-over game.
Batting first, the White Rose posted an impressive 368 for 9 off their 50 overs, with a hundred from Harry Brook, and fifties for Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Jordan Thompson.
In response, Matthew Waite claimed four wickets for eight runs and five overs with the new ball to leave the university in disarray. The rest of the wickets were spread amongst Yorkshire bowler’s, with Cardiff bowled out for 160.
