It’s time to vote for your Sportsbreaks Player of the Month for June. Yorkshire Women were in Metro Bank One Day Cup and Vitality Blast action this month, looking to build confidence towards the final block of fixtures. Below are your nominees for Player of the Month. Here are the nominees:

Alice Clarke

Alice Clarke finished June as Yorkshire Women’s leading run-scorer, accumulating 49 runs across the two matches. Clarke struck 34 from 35 balls against Hampshire Hawks, helping Yorkshire recover from the loss of three early wickets, before adding another 15 against The Blaze.

Lauren Winfield-Hill

Lauren Winfield-Hill recorded Yorkshire’s highest individual score of the month with an attacking innings against Hampshire Hawks. The Yorkshire captain struck 39 from just 31 deliveries, finding the boundary six times. She also contributed in the field during the 50-over fixture against The Blaze, taking the catch to dismiss Maddie Kirk.

Beth Langston

Beth Langston produced Yorkshire’s standout bowling performance of the month during the 50-over encounter with The Blaze. The seamer claimed 3-43 from eight overs, including one maiden, removing three of the opposition’s top four batters and giving Yorkshire an opportunity to defend their total.
