The candidates

Emma Marlow
Emma Marlow hit a remarkable 63 runs against the Sunrisers in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-final at Headingley. A consistent contributor with the bat and in the field, Marlow has worked hard for the Diamonds for the last few years.

Sterre Kalis
Dutch batter Sterre Kalis scored 49 runs in the home semi-final against Sunrisers, as well as helping to steady that middle-order during a tough game.

Lauren Winfield-Hill
Stepping up as captain for the final few games for the Northern Diamonds, Lauren Winfield-Hill’s contributions to the team have been valuable.  Lauren has contributed with the keeping gloves and with the bat, helping take the team to the semi-finals of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.

Rachel Slater
Left-arm swing bowler Rachel Slater has performed consistently with the ball for the Northern Diamonds and is currently competing in the women’s T20 World Cup for Scotland.
