England limited overs fast bowler Liam Plunkett says his move to Surrey can add further improvement to his game.

Plunkett is swapping Emerald Headingley for the Kia Oval at the end of the summer having not been offered a new contract by Yorkshire.

The 33-year-old has signed a three-year deal with Surrey, with Yorkshire bemoaning his lack of availability as a primary reason for his departure.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time here,” said Plunkett, who started the summer at the IPL and has spent significant time away from Headingley on international duty.
