Transfer talk is all the rage in football today. But why should Yorkshire fans miss out on all the fun?

Ottis Gibson has been discussing the three recruits he has already got across the line and has teased there could be more on the way to Headingley ahead of 2023.

“Shan Masood is across the line, so is Ben Mike and Matt Milnes. They are three exciting signings,” said the county’s head coach.

“Then you start to think, ‘Ok, you can see the shape of the squad we might have for next year and it looks exciting’.

“But I’m sure there is still room for one or maybe two more.

“I have spoken to Goughie, and I would like to sign a left-arm seamer probably.

“But we have to see who is out there so that we can get the right person. The character is as important as the ability.”

So, watch this space. But have an early night as nothing will be flashing up on that famous yellow ticker before 11pm today.
