Yorkshire Diamonds have said yes to a two-year partnership with jewellers Odendaal Diamonds.

The new partnership will see the Odendaal Diamonds’ brand on the front of the Yorkshire Diamonds shirts from the 2018 season.

To add more sparkle to the partnership, Odendaal Diamonds will be launching a competition to give one lucky supporter attending Yorkshire’s T20 double-header at Emerald Headingley on Friday 27th July. Those who attend the Kia Super League fixture against Lancashire Thunder and Yorkshire Vikings’ Vitality Blast match against Birmingham Bears will be entered into a draw to win a diamond.

The lucky winner will receive a Tanzanite ring set in white gold. The Tanzanite is 1.17 carat set in a halo setting, surrounded by round brilliant cut diamonds and diamonds on the shoulder of the ring. Total diamond weight is 0.43 carat. The Tanzanite is of exceptional quality and the diamonds are G colour and SI/VS clarity.

Jane Hildreth, Yorkshire Diamonds General Manager said: “We are thrilled to partner up with Odendaal Diamonds for the 2018 and 2019 seasons. The brands align perfectly, and we are very grateful for the support that they are offering women’s cricket in Yorkshire.”

Dirk Odendaal, owner of Odendaal Diamonds added: “We are very excited to be working with Yorkshire Diamonds in the KIA Super League and to be involved with the talented women’s cricket team.

“When the opportunity was presented to us to get involved with the Diamonds and ladies cricket we felt it is a very good fit for both parties. Women’s cricket is growing in popularity and the fans love it!

“We believe they should get more exposure and should get all the commercial support that the game deserves.”
