The Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Mazars are delighted to announce an extension to their ongoing partnership.
International accountancy and advisory firm Mazars has been the principal partner of the Club since 2014. The extension means that Mazars and YCCC’s partnership will run for six consecutive years, until the end of 2019.
Mazars’ renewed commitment will see it continue to enjoy all the benefits of a major rights package, which has helped the firm significantly develop and strengthen its brand awareness across its core markets in the UK. Activities include client and prospect entertaining, which has provided fantastic opportunities to engage with the Yorkshire business community, as well as the exposure associated with appearing on all of the players’ match wear and training apparel.
Andy Dawson, The Yorkshire County Cricket Club Commercial Director, said: “We are absolutely delighted that Mazars have exercised their right to opt in for an additional year. The sign of a successful partnership is longevity and, as this will be the sixth year of the partnership, it clearly demonstrates how mutually fruitful this relationship has been.
“The partnership has developed into a friendship between the partners of Mazars and the team at Yorkshire Cricket. This has helped both businesses to extract additional value from the relationship and help us both meet our key objectives”.
Rob Burton, Partner at Mazars, said: “We’re thrilled to extend our role as principal partner of YCCC for another year. Our relationship has been built on shared values: a drive to succeed, built on commitment, dedication and teamwork. Over the next season, we look forward to working ever closer with the team, supporting its activities on the field and getting involved with the valuable work it does in the community”.
During last Sunday’s Royal London One-Day Cup game at Emerald Headingley, Mazars held a ‘family day’ with over 350 children and adults from their workforce, and clients, taking in the cricket and other family friendly activities at the ground. The day presented a great opportunity for Mazars to showcase the partnership to a range of stakeholders.
In the UK, Mazars has over 1700 employees and around 140 partners and provides a broad range of services to clients of all sizes, from SME’s to mid-caps and global players, as well as start-ups and public organisations at every stage of their development.
