From York, where it’s another dry and fine day ahead of an 11am start in an eagerly-anticipated Metro Bank One-Day Cup game between two in-form sides. It’s a bit cooler today, however.

Yorkshire have won three from four and are second behind leaders Middlesex, who have won three from three. Durham are third have also won three from three.

They chased down 327 having been 97-6 against Glamorgan at South Northumberland CC on Tuesday.

Will Rhodes scored a brilliant 148 not out and will face his former county today.

Obviously the man who has taken all the headlines over the last few weeks is Ben Stokes, who will line up for Durham today having retired from Test cricket recently.

But there’s another box office act in the city as well. Will Luxton.

Back-to-back centuries for the Yorkshire opener in wins over Sussex on Sunday and Worcestershire on Tuesday. He will surely have an England future.
