Yorkshire are facing a Surrey side who won their opener on Saturday against Warwickshire at Edgbaston, with both sides topping 300.
The White Rose are aiming to bounce back from their opening day defeat against Somerset at Taunton, by one wicket defending a 179-target.
It was oh so close and oh so frustrating. But there were plenty of positives for Rich Pyrah to take from the county’s first foray into Tier 1.
Surrey fielded Alice Capsey and Danni Wyatt-Hodge on Saturday, but they aren’t available today because of an England training camp at Millfield School in Taunton.
