Live: Hampshire Hawks v Yorkshire Women, Metro Bank ODC

Yorkshire face Hampshire at the Utilita Bowl today in their 12th of 14 matches in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup. They are aiming for a fourth win of the campaign, this against last year's finalists. Follow this page for updates throughout the day.

Winfield-Hill goes

Having said she looks in excellent order, Lauren has edged Naomi Dattani behind to fall for 24, feeling for one outside off-stump.

Sterre Kalis in now alongside Jess Jonassen, 6.

Yorkshire 31-1, 7th over

Lauren Winfield-Hill has hit five boundaries to date, all off Daisy Gibb, a mixture of drives, pulls and lofts.

One was drilled back past the bowler, another lofted over mid-off’s head.

She has 24 and looks in excellent order.

Yorkshire 17-1, fifth over

Lauren Winfield-Hill has hit three boundaries so far in 15 as she bids to recover things following the early loss of Alice Clarke.

Clarke goes

Following a Daisy Gibb maiden to Lauren Winfield-Hill, Alice Clarke has edged the first ball from Naomi Dattani behind.

Yorkshire 0-1 after seven balls.

Jess Jonassen in now.

Weather set fair

It’s a lovely morning on the South Coast, so we’re all set to go at 10.30am.

Good morning...

Yorkshire are at the Utilita Bowl today for a clash with title-chasing Hampshire.

Beaten finalists last year, they are already qualified for at least the semi-finals this year and could yet advance directly through to a home final.

The final is at this venue later this month.

Unfortunately, Yorkshire won’t be there. Defeat against Somerset at Headingley on Thursday mathematically ended their chances of progression, and the remainder of the summer is about progression and setting themselves up for 2027.

We have previewed this fixture with Hannah Rainey, who has taken three wickets in each of her last two matches.

That’s linked below, while the stream will be embedded at the top of the page before we get going at 10.30am.

Enjoy the day.
