Yorkshire in a spot of bother here.

Yorkshire 89-4, 13th over

Lauren Winfield-Hill, on 29, has been trapped lbw by Charli Knott’s off-spin.

Yorkshire have had a lot of starts but need someone to go on.

Yorkshire 31-1, 4 overs

Yorkshire 10-1, 1st over

Ami Campbell hit back-to-back boundaries off Charley Phillips but has chipped to mid-wicket.

Jess Jonassen in now alongside Erin Thomas.

All set to go here at Headingley...

Ami Campbell and Erin Thomas are opening the batting for Yorkshire.

Quarter-finals

There will be no quarter-final draw this evening for the men.

The quarter-final ties are done on seedings.

So, Seed 1 plays 8, 2 v 7, 3 v 6, 4 v 5.

Just to give you an idea, as things stand, Northamptonshire are Seed 1 and Essex Seed 8 on the basis of Northamptonshire being the best placed group leader and Essex being the worst placed team currently in a quarter-final qualifying position.

It would be Surrey v Yorkshire at present.

Yorkshire win the toss and bat

Yorkshire: Erin Thomas, Ami Campbell, Lauren Winfield-Hill c/w, Jess Jonassen, Sterre Kalis, Sarah Glenn, Alice Clarke, Beth Langston, Hannah Rainey, Holly Garton, Jess Woolston.

Good morning...

It’s a big day at Headingley today, where the sun’s shining and it’s a scorcher of day.

Our women kick things off at 11.30am against The Blaze. We’re looking for a fourth successive victory to end the Vitality Blast on a high, with The Blaze arriving at Headingley having already qualified for Friday’s Finals Day at The Kia Oval. Unfortunately, the White Rose won’t be there.

Our men are chasing a win which would secure a quarter-final berth. In truth, they are likely to qualify even with a defeat given the strength of their net run-rate. But a win could still secure a home quarter-final on Wednesday.

Nottinghamshire have already won the North Group, with Yorkshire second.

The other game which could impact Yorkshire’s men today is Lancashire v Durham at Emirates Old Trafford. If Lancashire win and win big, then Yorkshire will need to avoid a heavy defeat here. Even then, they may well advance as one of the two best third-placed finishers across the three groups.

Our previews for today’s game, with Rich Pyrah talking about Sterre Kalis and Adam Lyth talking about his impressive Blast form, are linked below.

Enjoy the day.
