Essex are well on top here at the Riverside.
In the men’s Test at Headingley, Yashasvi Jaiswal has reached tea on 100 not out in 215-2. Captain Shubman Gill is unbeaten on 58.

From the Banks Homes Riverside, where it’s a warm and sunny afternoon just like at Headingley.
This is Yorkshire’s eighth match of the North Group campaign and a game they really could do with winning. They currently have two wins from seven and need to start clawing back some points on the leading pack if they are to reach the quarter-finals.
There’s a chance for instant revenge after defeat against Durham at York on Sunday afternoon.
Durham have since been beaten, against Worcestershire at New Road on Wednesday evening. But they are in good order in the group.
