Sussex will resume on 26-0 after 10 overs of their second innings, a deficit of 111 runs.

Yorkshire enjoyed a positive day yesterday, totalling 326 all out in their first-innings reply to Sussex’s 189 all out. Will Luxton and Jonny Bairstow both made half-centuries and Jordan Thompson enjoyed a good day with 44 not out following the last wicket in Sussex’s 189 all out.

Sussex did hit back in the final session through Jack Carson’s off-spin. He finished with five wickets and limited the damage before they made early moves to see off the new ball. They have high hopes of a turnaround in this fixture, but you feel a couple quick morning wickets will stop them in their tracks.
