Tom Kohler-Cadmore

“It’s always nice to finish the season with a win and some runs personally. It leaves you going into pre-season with a good taste in your mouth and gives me confidence heading into the next few weeks with the (England) Lions coming out here.

“The spinners and Ben Coad were superb for us. For a seamer to bowl three overs 1-8 out here is so special. The pitch skidded on nicely and you could hit through the line, so it was hard to defend. For him to bowl how he did is special.

“The spinners were great. Josh Poysden did it again having bowled well against Lahore, and he’s showed us what he can do with the white ball. I’m very excited about what he can deliver for us over the coming years. Karl Carver and Adam Lyth also bowled really tight.

“We’re putting ourselves under pressure, which is good for the coming season. It’s a long way away now, but it is going to give these guys confidence.”

1.35pm Yorkshire win by nine wickets with more than seven overs to spare. Kohler-Cadmore 72 off 42 balls and Brook 42 off 22. They shared 99 unbroken in double quick time.

1.23pm Yorkshire racing to the win at 106-1 after 10 overs. Kohler-Cadmore 45 and Brook 36. 141 is the target.

12.58pm Yorkshire have lost their first wicket as Lyth miscues Clark and is caught in the covers for 21. Yorkshire 45-1 in the fifth over chasing 141.

12.47pm SIX! Lyth slog sweeps Wakim’s off-spin over backward square and pulls him over wide long-on next ball. Yorkshire moving nicely at 27-0 in the third.

12.21pm Hurricanes lose Botha caught behind off Shaw with penultimate ball of their innings and then finish on 140-7. Spin through the middle did the trick for Yorkshire.

11.59am OUT! Poysden bowls Clark and Yorkshire are asserting their authority. 107-5 in the 15th.

11.54am Willis gone! He slog sweeps Carver down Poysden’s throat at deep square for 35. Hurricanes 103-4 in the 14th.

11.46am OUT! Karl Carver gets Jewell stumped for 38. Hobart 88-3 in the 12th.

11.38am Steady start by Hobart, who are 73-2 early in the 10th over. Willis and Jewell have 24 apiece.

11.27am Hurricanes have moved to 45-2 after six overs of power play.

11.18am Josh Shaw strikes. He gets Duckett caught behind for 2, top-edged pull. Hobart 36-2 in the fourth.

11.04am Hobart 5-0 in the second over as Wakim and Duckett try to advance against Coad and Shaw.

10.32am Yorkshire have lost the toss and will be bowling first.

Yorkshire: Lyth c, Kohler-Cadmore, Brook, Ballance, Leaning, Tattersall w, Waite, Shaw, Carver, Poysden, Coad.

Hobart: Duckett w, Wakim c, Willis, Jewell, Botha, Clark, Oates, Wright, White, Ellis, Taylor.

9.38am Busy day for Cricket Tasmania today. As Hobart play here, Tasmania are in JLT Cup one-day action against Queensland in Sydney. A win takes them through to Wednesday’s final against Victoria. Queensland are currently 101-4 in the 23rd over batting first. We can at least say good luck for that game.

Good morning from Abu Dhabi, where it’s an early start for our final game of 2018.

Yorkshire’s clash with Hobart is essentially a dead rubber in the Abu Dhabi T20 competition, with Group A already Lahore’s. They will be in the final tonight and most likely will play the Titans from South Africa, who looked seriously impressive against Boost from Afghanistan yesterday.

Hobart lost their Group A opener against Lahore yesterday, as Yorkshire did on Thursday evening.

The Big Bash finalists should field a trio of overseas players in Ben Duckett, Jordan Clark (no hat-trick today, thanks) and Jerome Taylor from the West Indies. They also have Johan Botha available.

We start at 11am local time, 8am in the UK.

There are three games today. Titans play Auckland at 3pm local timer before the final kicks off at 8pm.

All games will be televised: Freeview channel 95, Sky 422, Virgin 533, Freesat 252, TalkTalk TV 95, BT 95.
