6.02pm – WICKET! Webster bowled by Revis – played on for a golden duck. It’s 158-6 in the 63rd over. Revis is on a hat-trick.

5.56pm – WICKET! Price caught behind down leg by Tattersall off Revis. Brilliant diving catch after a gloved pull, 47. It’s 150-5 after 61 overs.

5.49pm – WICKET! Bracey bowled by Fernando, 8. Gloucestershire 146-4 in the 60th over as they reply to our 456.

5.43pm – Congratulations to Will Luxton and Harry Duke, who have been named in a 13-man squad selected for a First-Class County Select XI three-day match against West Indies at Beckenham starting on Wednesday 3 July.

5.41pm – Gloucestershire 141-3 from 58 overs as they reply to our 456. Price has 42.

5.15pm – WICKET! Hammond bowled by Bess having advanced down the pitch at him. Looks like an inside-edge. It’s 128-3 in the 52nd.

5.12pm – Gloucestershire are 128-2 after 51 overs. Price 33, Hammond 15. We have 20 overs remaining in the day.

4.42pm – Yorkshire’s current coach Ottis Gibson greets the county’s former director of cricket Martyn Moxon at Scarborough. When Moxon was in charge at Durham in the early to mid-2000s, he signed fast bowler Gibson.

4.30pm – Play about to resume after tea. Gloucestershire 97-2 with Hammond having come to the crease. Bess continues.

4.11pm – WICKET! Charlesworth caught behind off Revis, 45. Gloucestershire are 97-2 after 39 overs at tea. Wicket with the last ball of the session.

3.48pm – We have six overs before tea. A second wicket beforehand would be ideal. Gloucestershire have looked solid – they’ve had a good day – and it’s 77-1 after 33.

3.21pm – WICKET! Bancroft caught by Lyth at second slip off Thompson, 29. Gloucestershire are 62-1 in the 27th over replying to 456.

3.13pm – This clearly hasn’t been the start that Yorkshire would have wanted wickets wise, but they haven’t let Gloucestershire get away. Charlesworth 31 and Bancroft 29.

2.54pm – Yorkshire are still on the lookout for a wicket. Glos have advanced t0 44-0 after 20 overs.

2.27pm – Charlesworth edges Thompson for four, but it’s gone just to Bean’s left at third slip at a catchable height. He just didn’t see it. 36-0 in the 14th now. Charlesworth has 20 of them.

2.21pm – Solid start for Gloucestershire, who are 27-0 in the 13th over. McKerr and Thompson searching for the breakthrough.

2.07pm – Gloucestershire are 19-0 in the ninth over. Charlesworth 10, Bancroft 9. Fernando continues.

1.35pm – Gloucestershire are 6-0 after one over of their reply to our 456. Fernando has just bowled the first. McKerr sharing the new ball.

1.31pm – The wildcard draft for the remaining places in the Hundred squads has been completed. The ECB have just announced it. No more Yorkshire men’s players have been called up, but Rachel Slater (Oval Invincibles) and Sophia Turner (Northern Superchargers) have won call-ups from the Northern Diamonds squad. Congratulations to them both.

12.51pm – WICKET! Thompson caught at wide long-on off Middleton’s leg-spin for an entertaining 44. We’re 456 all out, and that’s lunch. Impressive from Glos this morning. Seven wickets in the session to limit the damage.

12.48pm – Thompson has hit Goodman for two sixes in the ongoing 120th over to move to 44 and the score to 456-9. He’s maintaining as much strike as possible.

12.37pm – WICKET! McKerr caught at third slip off Goodman, 17. We’re 437-9 in the 118th. Fernando in to join Thompson, 26.

12.35pm – Some handy runs being added to wrestle back the momentum. Yorkshire 436-8 after 117 overs, with Thompson 25 and McKerr 17.

12.19pm – WICKET! Hill trapped lbw by Goodman, 45. Yorkshire 411-8 after 114 overs. McKerr in now.

12.16pm – SIX! Thompson pulls Akhter over long-leg, moving to 17 out of 411-7 after 113.

12.10pm – SIX! Thompson hoists Webster over cover, having driven him for four much squarer the ball before. He has 10 of 402-7 after 112. Hill 43.

12.05pm – WICKET! Tattersall caught behind off Akhter, 1. We’re 391-7 in the 111th over. Thompson in now alongside Hill, who has 42.

11.59am – WICKET! Revis bowled by Webster, 4. We’re 390-6 in the 110th over. Tattersall in now alongside Hill, who has 41.  Gloucestershire have pinched a second bowling point. Yorkshire will finish with three batting points.

11.47am – There’s a race on for a fourth batting bonus point. Yorkshire 385-5 after 107, needing 15 more runs in three overs. Hill 41, Revis yet to score.

11.30am – WICKET! Luxton trapped lbw by Singh Dale, 0. We’re 379-5 after 103 overs. Revis in now. Hill has 35.

That looked leg-side ish on first viewing. Would be interested to see the replay.

11.27am – Hill has started nicely. He’s moved to 35, pulling Singh Dale through mid-wicket for four just now. We’re 379-4 in the 103rd over.

11.18am – WICKET! Bess caught at second slip off Singh Dale, 7. It’s 369-4 in the 101st over. Luxton in now. Hill has 25.

11am – We’re up and running here at North Marine Road. Hill drives the first ball of the day, from Singh Dale, through the covers for four.352-3, and he has 15. That’s a third batting point in the bag.

10.53am – Jonny Tattersall is doing some keeping work with Ali Maiden in the middle as we approach the start of play.

9.30am – Good morning from North Marine Road, where the sun is shining and Yorkshire are getting ready to add to their overnight 348-3.

Fin Bean and Adam Lyth posted 164 and 129 yesterday, sharing a record-breaking 307 for the first wicket. It was the highest opening partnership on this ground in first-class cricket.

The expectation is that Yorkshire will push on towards 550-600 today before trying to make inroads with the ball later on.
