3.31pm – YORKSHIRE WIN!!!!!!!

We win by an innings and 204 as Whiteley is caught at mid-wicket by Wharton off Fernando, who finishes with nine wickets in the match. Derbyshire 171 all out.

Back-to-back wins. What a performance this was.

3.29pm – Whiteley is having some late fun. He’s hit five sixes in 52 off 38 balls. Derbyshire 171-9 now.

3.22pm – WICKET! Conners bowled by Fernando. It’s 148-9 in the 41st. Nearly there….

Fernando is back into the attack in place of Coad, whose 6-30 from 15 overs represent the second best haul of his first-class career. Fabulous.

3.07pm – WICKET! Chappell caught behind off Coad for a golden. Hat-trick ball incoming. Derbyshire are 116-8 after 37 overs.

3.05pm – WICKET! Thomson trapped lbw by Coad, 2. It’s 116-7 in the 37th over. Three more to go for Yorkshire in order to claim back-to-back innings wins for the first time since June 2015. Five wickets for Coad. Superb.

2.48pm – WICKET! Coad gets Lloyd caught behind for 57. Derbyshire 108-6 after 33 overs. Coad has four-for.

2.36pm – WICKET! Donald bowled by Coad, 10. Derbyshire 97-5 in the 31st.

2.34pm – Lloyd reaches his fifty off 73 balls for Derbyshire. They’re 97-4 after 30 overs.

2.10pm – Derbyshire enjoying their best period of the match so far at present. They’ve moved to 83-4 having been 43-4. Welshmen Lloyd and Donald have 41 and 8 respectively.

1.53pm – We’re about to resume after lunch. Hill with the ball to get us going. Derbyshire 57-4 in their second innings with 75 overs remaining in the day.

1.13pm – Lunch. Another super session for Yorkshire. Derbyshire have reached 57-4 from 19 overs in their second innings. They trail by 318.

12.53pm – WICKET! Madsen trapped lbw by Fernando, 23. It’s 43-4 in the 15th over.

12.47pm – Derbyshire have moved to 36-3 in the 14th over. Madsen 23, Lloyd 5.

12.26pm – WICKET! Guest trapped lbw by Coad, 8. Derbyshire are 24-3 in the ninth over.

12.18pm – Derbyshire 17-2 in the seventh over of their second innings.

11.57am – WICKET! Reece has been trapped lbw by Fernando, 0. It’s 0-2 in the second.

11.51am – WICKET! Wagstaff has edged the first ball of the innings, from Coad, behind to Tattersall. Good catch going to his left. 0-1. What a start.

11.50am – Derbyshire’s second innings starts with them 375 behind. Coad has the new ball.

11.41am – Fernando edges the boundary which gets us to 451-9 and a fifth batting point. And the declaration comes immediately. Our lead is 375. Excellent. We have 94 overs left in the day.

11.35am – WICKET! Tattersall has clothed a pull at Dupavillon to mid-wicket, falling for a brilliant 107. 447-9 in the 102nd. Fernando in now.

11.34am – WICKET! Coad bowled by Reece, 1. It’s 447-8 in the 101st. Moriarty in now alongside Tattersall, who has 107.

11.28am – It should be good news in the grand scheme of things, but Yorkshire haven’t found run-scoring easy this morning. They’ve been quite scratchy in moving from 416-6 to 446-7. The lead is 370. Tattersall 106 and Coad, who has been dropped at slip, has one.

11.23am – WICKET! Thompson trapped lbw by Reece, 20. We’re 443-7 in the 99th. Tattersall 104 is joined by Coad.

11.12am – HUNDRED!!! Tattersall gets there off 163 balls with 13x4s. Sensational. We’re 433-6 after 96 overs, a lead of 357.

11am – We’re all set for the start of play. Thompson to face Dupavillon on 8. Yorkshire 416-6, leading by 340. Tattersall 93.

10.33am – We’re still on course for a start on time. It’s brightened up a bit as well. Blue sky in the distance.

9.15am – Good morning from Chesterfield, where it’s dry but overcast ahead of day three, which is all set to start at 11am.

Yorkshire will resume on 416-6 in reply to Derbyshire’s first-innings 76. Jonny Tattersall is 93 and Jordan Thompson 8. You would think the plan this morning will be to get to 450 for a fifth batting point and then get bowling.

We have 104 overs scheduled in the day, so Yorkshire could realistically wrap this up today. Equally, you would expect Derbyshire to bat better than they did in the first innings, so it won’t be easy.
