9.05am – Good morning from Chesterfield, where it’s an overcast start to the day. There has been some overnight rain, but we are set for a start on time at 11am.

Yorkshire head into this fixture on the back of victory against Gloucestershire at Scarborough last week, by an innings inside three days.

It hoisted the county from second-bottom in the table to third, 25 points behind Middlesex in second with six games remaining.

Derbyshire are bottom of the Division Two table without a win in eight games. They’re the only winless side in the division.

The two counties played out a draw at Headingley in May. Yorkshire will be hoping this week provides more of a repeat of last year’s clash at Chesterfield, which they won.

Shan Masood returns from a week out with concussion to face his former county, while Ben Coad has returned to the squad following a back injury which has sidelined him since late last month.
