England and Australia will be represented by two Yorkshire legends in the Emerald and Directors’ Suites at this year’s eagerly anticipated Third Specsavers Ashes Test Match.

Former Yorkshire captains Darren Gough and Darren Lehmann will be hosting in both hospitality facilities on the first three days of the Specsavers Ashes Test Match, which begins on Thursday 22nd August.

Gough played 146 First-Class and 212 List A matches for the White Rose county, taking 453 and 290 wickets respectively. However, the Barnsley-born seamer made his name terrorising batsmen for England, accumulating 229 Test and 235 One-Day International wickets.

The former England right arm fast bowler is looking forward to Ashes cricket returning to his home ground this summer. Gough said: “The return of Ashes cricket at Headingley is fantastic for the region and I look forward to speaking in the new Emerald Suite.

“Playing in an Ashes Test Match is the pinnacle of any cricketers’ career, so I look forward to sharing my thoughts with guests on the series and previous encounters.”
