Northern Diamonds’ Lauren Winfield-Hill and Katie Levick are two of five players to return to the team selected in 2022, alongside cricketers Bryony Smith, Nat Sciver-Brunt, and Lauren Bell.
Winfield-Hill, who also starred for the Oval Invincibles during The Hundred this season, featured with 264 MVP points after finishing as the leading run scorer in the RHFT with 663 runs, with an average of 51 per match, and securing 19 dismissals across all formats.
Levick, who was involved with Birmingham Phoenix during The Hundred, scored 194 MVP points after taking the second most wickets in the RHFT with 24, and the second most wickets in The Hundred with 11 this season.
Georgia Adams captains the side for the second year in succession following a fabulous season in which she won the Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy MVP awards, alongside lifting both trophies as skipper of Southern Vipers. Adams is also nominated for the cinch PCA Women’s Player of the Year award.
With the Women’s Overall Domestic MVP selecting a well-balanced side, MVP points across the Charlotte Edwards Cup, Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy and The Hundred are taken into account with Adams, Bell and Smith making it a hat-trick of involvements following the inauguration of this award in 2021.
