Tom Kohler-Cadmore is ready and raring to go ahead of his involvement in the England Lions tour to Australia, starting next week.

Kohler-Cadmore is in the squad for five one-day matches against a Cricket Australia XI and a New South Wales XI between February 2-11.

He will then return home before the four-day squad plays three further matches to conclude the tour.

The one-day squad heads Down Under on Tuesday.

Kohler-Cadmore is the only Yorkshire name in either squad, although Ashes winner Tim Bresnan has been acting as a consultant in their preparations at Loughborough given his experience of success in Australian conditions.

“Having had a break, the excitement is there to get going again.”
